70th Anniversary – The Hellenic Orthodox Community of Geelong
In 2026, we proudly commemorate the formal establishment of the Hellenic Orthodox Community of Geelong (HOCOG).
Since 1956, the HOCOG has maintained and promoted our rich Hellenic culture and language, sustained our Greek Orthodox faith, and created an environment where all ages of our community can connect and thrive.
Our Geelong Greek-Australians of all generations have meaningfully contributed to the Geelong and broader community.
To commemorate this milestone, the Management Committee of the HOCOG will host a 70th Anniversary Gala Dinner for dignitaries and community members to come together for an unforgettable night of reflection, recognition and celebration, and to formally launch the fundraising for our Grand Vision for the future of the HOCOG.
