Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

  1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the HOCOG website (hocog.org.au) and the purchase of event tickets and membership through our website. By using our website or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

  1. Event Tickets

2.1 Ticket Purchase

All ticket purchases are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent to you.

2.2 Ticket Inclusions

Unless stated otherwise, all event tickets include a reserved table seat and a three-course meal. Drinks are not included and will be available for purchase separately on the night. The bar accepts card payments only — no cash.

2.3 Children’s Tickets

Children’s tickets are available for guests aged 4 to 12 years. Children aged 3 and under are welcome at no charge but must share a seat with a parent or guardian.

2.4 Dietary Requirements

Dietary requirements, allergies and accessibility needs must be submitted at the time of purchase or no later than 14 days prior to the event. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests, however we cannot guarantee all requirements can be met if submitted after this date.

2.5 Dress Code

Unless stated otherwise, our gala events are formal.

2.6 Right of Entry

HOCOG reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who is intoxicated, behaving in a disorderly manner, or who poses a risk to the safety or enjoyment of other guests.

2.7 Event Changes and Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation or significant change to an event (including date, time or venue), HOCOG will notify ticket holders by email as soon as practicable. Full refunds will be issued in the event of a cancellation by HOCOG.

  1. Payments

All payments are processed securely by Square. HOCOG does not store your card or payment details. By making a payment you agree to Square’s terms of service.

  1. Photography and Filming

HOCOG events may be photographed or filmed for community and promotional purposes. By attending an event you consent to being photographed or filmed. If you have concerns, please contact us prior to the event.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, HOCOG is not liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained by attendees at our events, including loss of or damage to personal belongings.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
